This natural stoneware product is handcrafted and decorated; therefore each bath will have a unique color and texture that will not be replicated. The glazed finish will make a statement for years to come while at the same time protecting your bath. This bird bath has a bowl depth of 3 inches; however the ideal bathing depth for birds is 1.5 to 2 inches. You can simply fill the bath with 1.5 to 2 inches of water or you can take the decorative approach and use polished stones or similar items to raise the level water level while keeping the bird safe. The base of the pedestal is roughly 10 inches in diameter providing weight and stability. Made in USA.
